The primary purpose of CSAF, Inc. is to develop Christ-like character through quality athletic programs, with attention given to fellowship, respect for opponents, playing heartily as unto the Lord, and Christian fun. CSAF was founded in 1980 by a small group of Dallas and Fort Worth area schools seeking competition in a Christian environment. It is the only school league that provides competition at the Elementary, Junior High and High School levels. Currently, CSAF has 60 members on roll and is the fastest growing Christian league in the state of Texas. In the summer of 2004, CSAF became incorporated in anticipation of expanding into a statewide league. That statewide organization was introduced in the Spring of 2005 as Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship (TCAF). TCAF now host our High School Division while CSAF still host our Elementary and JR. High Divisions. This school year, TCAF and CSAF member schools will field over 4000 players, 406 teams, and play nearly 2250 games. TCAF will host 13 High School State Play-offs, and CSAF will host 8 Junior High Regional Tournaments, 9 Elementary District Tournaments. Every year, TCAF and CSAF will award All District Player, Team and Tournament awards. In addition, CSAF, Inc. awards an Athletic Scholar Award to one Elementary, Jr. High and High School student. CSAF, Inc. also maintains a benevolent fund to assist families of member schools in need. We can assure each school that your participation will not only provide your athletes with a healthy environment to compete but will also strengthen your athletic programs. Sports With A Purpose |
